Oliver Oakes is a British former racing driver who competed in junior single-seater categories during the mid-to-late 2000s. His racing career spanned three series between 2006 and 2010, with his primary experience coming in the Formula Renault Eurocup, where he made 17 starts for Motopark Academy across 2006 and 2007. He also competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series with one start for Carlin Motorsport in 2008 and finished his racing career in the GP3 Series with 14 starts for CRS Racing in 2010. Across all categories, Oakes accumulated 32 career starts without securing any wins or podium finishes.[1]
Following his retirement from professional racing, Oakes transitioned into motorsport management and executive roles. He became notably involved in team ownership and leadership, eventually reaching the position of Team Principal for the Alpine F1 Team in July 2024. His tenure in that role proved brief, ending in May 2025 when he resigned from the position.[2]
