Takuya Shirasaka is a Bronze-graded amateur endurance racing driver. He spent four seasons in Super GT's GT300 class, a national Japanese multiclass endurance championship mixing amateur and professional drivers in shared-drive GT3 and Japanese-built GT300 cars. His principal team was Pacific Racing Team. He also made four starts in Road to Le Mans, an international multiclass endurance series, driving LMP3 prototypes for TKS.[1]

Shirasaka accumulated 26 Super GT starts between 2012 and 2015, finishing 22nd in the 2015 championship standings. He finished behind established professionals Nobuteru Taniguchi and Tatsuya Kataoka in most encounters, both multiple Super GT GT300 champions with international experience. He beat Tomoki Nojiri, a later two-time Super Formula champion, on three occasions, and finished ahead of Kazuki Hiramine, a 2022 Super GT GT500 champion and FIA Gold driver, once.[2]
