Joey Mawson is an Australian racing driver who competed across multiple single-seater and open-wheel series between 2015 and 2023. He began his career in ADAC Formula 4 from 2015 to 2016 with Van Amersfoort Racing, securing 15 wins and 27 podiums across 45 starts, winning the championship in 2016. Mawson subsequently competed in FIA Formula 3 European in 2017, recording one podium finish from 27 starts with the same team, followed by a spell in GP3 Series in 2018 with Arden International, where he achieved two podiums from 16 starts.[1]
Mawson's most successful period came in the S5000 championship, where he competed for 88 Racing between 2021 and 2023. He secured 14 wins and 19 podiums across 26 starts, capturing the championship in both 2022 and 2023.
