🇯🇵 Riki Okusa

Riki Okusa is an established professional racing driver, FIA Silver-graded, competing in Super GT's GT500 class for Modulo Nakajima Racing. He races in Japan's premier multiclass endurance championship, where two drivers share each car across a season of long-distance rounds. His career spans five seasons from 2022 onward, with a single formula racing venture in 2023.[1]

Okusa won the 2022 Super GT championship with Gainer in the GT300 class, then moved to the GT500 class with Modulo Nakajima Racing the following year. Across 35 Super GT starts he has taken four podiums alongside that one victory. His sole foray into single-seat racing came in Super Formula in 2023, where he started twice for TGM Grand Prix. The 2026 season is still in progress; through four rounds he remains active in GT500 competition.[2]

His regular competitors in Super GT include Atsushi Miyake and Teppei Natori, both professionals with significant single-seat and endurance experience; he runs closely matched with each. He has finished ahead of Sho Tsuboi, an elite professional who holds multiple Super GT and Super Formula titles, on three occasions, and beaten Tadasuke Makino, a Gold-graded champion of both the 2020 and 2025 Super GT GT500 championships, once. The field mixes amateurs and semi-professionals with graded professionals, and Okusa has shown he can compete against the stronger drivers in it.
