His racing record spans from the early 2000s through the mid-2010s, with his most extensive involvement coming in the Super GT championship. Across 52 total starts in his documented racing career, Kaneishi achieved 1 victory and 13 podium finishes.[1]

Kaneishi's primary focus was Super GT, where he competed from 2008 to 2014 with Keihin Real Racing. During this seven-year period, he accumulated 49 starts, scoring 1 win and 13 podiums. His earliest documented racing activity came in 2000, when he contested three rounds of Formula 3 Macau for GM Motorsport without securing podium finishes. His final racing appearance came in the 2014 Super GT season, where he contested 5 rounds and finished twelfth in the standings with 1 podium result.
