🇺🇸 Sami Meguetounif

Meguetounif is an established professional, FIA Silver graded, competing in endurance racing. He races for TDS Racing in the European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro/Am class, driving LMP2 prototypes in a multiclass field. He most recently campaigned the Asian Le Mans Series for Algarve Pro Racing and spent 2024 and 2025 in single-seater formulae with Trident, racing Formula 3 and Formula 2.[1]

His record spans six seasons from 2021 onward across the junior formulae and endurance series. In Formula 3 he took two wins and two podiums across 20 starts in 2024. He scored four podiums in 35 starts in Formula Regional European between 2021 and 2023, the bulk of his single-seater work. His endurance racing record includes two podiums in six Asian Le Mans starts in 2026 and four starts in the European Le Mans Series this season.[2]

In single-seaters he has regularly faced established and elite-level professionals. Against Sebastian Montoya, an FIA Silver driver with substantial experience across Formula 3, Formula 2 and Italian F4, Meguetounif typically finished behind. He has also raced repeatedly against Leonardo Fornaroli, the 2024 Formula 3 champion and 2025 Formula 2 champion, and has generally been outpaced by him as well. His wins have come against stronger opposition; he beat Gabriel Bortoleto, the 2023 Formula 3 champion and 2024 Formula 2 champion, three times across their meetings, and topped Andrea Kimi Antonelli twice despite Antonelli's status as a generational talent and current Formula 1 driver. His progression to endurance racing with Trident's support and then to professional Le Mans-series competition underlines a shift in focus from the junior single-seater ladder toward prototype racing.
