American Endurance Racing is a multi-class endurance series running production-based cars with shared driving duties. The field is competitive amateur, drawing mainly from club racing and amateur single-marque circuits; most drivers are ungraded, though a small number of professionals and semi-professionals compete alongside them. Josh Green and Kamden Hibbitt lead the current roster. The series sits in the middle of the amateur endurance ladder, stronger than NASA and the lower single-seater clubs but weaker than the World Racing League. Drivers flow in primarily from NASA and PCA Club Racing, and move on most often to SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors, suggesting the series functions as a stepping stone where amateur racers consolidate endurance experience before advancing to either club-based single-seaters or higher professional grids.
